The South Asia Earthquake has claimed an estimated 80,000 lives, with more than 100,000 injured and 3 million homeless.
The World Health Organisation has declared the quake more devastating than the tsunami. The UN estimates it will take a decade to rebuild the areas reduced to rubble.
The UN has increased its international flash appeal to $312 million, with only $50 million pledged so far.
So little time, and so much more is needed. There are not enough blankets to cover the dead, nor shelter the living. People wrestle for food as it becomes a struggle for survival.
