Pakistan Community Services (PCS) of Australia is launching comprehensive fund raising campaign at the Chand Raat Eid Festival being held on Tuesday the 1st of November, 2005 at Orion Function Centre, 155 Beamish Street, Campsie NSW from 6.00pm till late night.
Mr Robert Furolo, the Mayor of Canterbury Council will launch the Fund Raising Campaign around 9.00pm at the event.
This is the 7th year of this unique annual event which is celebrated ideally one or two day before the Eid (Muslims annual celebration after Ramadan). The event gets local and international coverage.
The Festival starts 7.00pm and ends late night. Large number of people along with their families from Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indonesian, Malaysian, Lebanese and other Muslim Communities from Sydney and its outskirts attend with great interest and enthusiasm. Variety of stalls from garments to food, handicraft, women needs and children rides are placed in this festival.
