About 200 City of Sydney staff members enjoyed a scrumptious barbecue at the Marconi Room today to raise money for Oxfam's South Asian Earth Quake Appeal.
As well as enjoying a range of culinary delights including, sausages, steak, rolls, salads and soft drink - more than $1,000 was raised which will go directly to those people who have been affected by the recent Asian earthquakes.
Thanks to the staff from Communications & Marketing and the Sports & Social Club who organised the event.
This donation is further to a Council resolution that the City donate $50,000 to Oxfam.
