APPEAL FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
IN PAKISTAN AND KASHMIR
The Pakistan Earthquake Appeal Co-ordination Committee (PEACC) is calling on individuals and organisations to support the victims of the earthquake in Pakistan and Kashmir.
The death toll from this earthquake has already risen above 87,000, with many villages reduced to rubble. An estimated 3 million people have been left homeless.
We call on the generous spirit of the Australian Community to contribute as much as possible in this time of extreme need.
Only through the generosity of the outside world will the lives of those devastated by this disaster be saved and restored.
As efforts have moved from rescue to survival, the need for food, shelter, clothing, water and medical care has become acute.
